About Flashbulb Fires (formerly known as Fiancé)
Since the fall of 2006, the Denver indie rock band Flashbulb Fires has been winning over audiences across in the Denver music scene with their unique style of rock 'n' roll. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Radiohead, Ben Folds, and the Beach Boys, the Colorado band Flashbulb Fires employs intricate arrangements and evocative vocal harmonies that create a genuinely moving experience for listeners. The Denver-based band released their first EP, Girl from the Ivory Coast, in March of 2007. A year later they released their follow up EP, Please, Ambitious, Please. On Please, Ambitious, Please The Denver band, Flashbulb Fires, introduces us to a batch of tortured characters accompanied by a carefully arranged and expressive sound that dips and weaves its way to an enthralling finish. The Denver music scene as well as national press took notice of the new EP. Flashbulb Fires is preparing to release their debut full length album in the fall of 2009. The Denver, Colorado indie rock band, never content to rest on past achievements, has taken huge musical steps with the new album and both the Denver music scene as well as the national scene are sure to take notice.
